Inside Worship Beginning October 25 | 10:30 AM October 14, 2020

Our Sunday service will move indoors on Oct. 25th, with one service starting at 10:30am. For those unable to join us in person, our service will be live-streamed. If your plan is to join us on campus, here are the things you can expect during our indoor services on Sunday morning:

  • Watch Inside Worship Guided Tour

  • Three points of access will be available for entering and exiting the building. The North Entrance, Main Entrance, and Atrium Entrances. Though elevators will be operational, we are encouraging those with difficult navigating stairs to consider using the North Entrance.

  • Your safety is a primary concern, so we are asking 3 things of you when you arrive.

    • Facemasks are required for everyone the entire time you are in the building...even while you sing. Singing has been proven to be a way to spread the virus quickly to others.

    • Stop for a quick temperature check at the entrances.

    • Utilize the hand-sanitizer stations located around the building.

  • In an effort to maintain social distancing, we are making 5 areas available for participating in worship that will each be limited to 50% capacity. The Worship Center will be seating people every other row and only on the ends. In addition, we are making 2 rooms specifically family-friendly.

    • Worship Center

    • Theater (a room for families to be comfortable)

    • Activity Center (2nd family-friendly space)

    • Atrium

    • W201

  • At the conclusion of our service, we are asking that people exit the building quickly. We encourage you to utilize our outdoor spaces and campus area for community and conversation, but want to encourage not lingering inside the facility.

  • We have installed hospital-grade filtration units in our HVAC system that kill viruses and bacteria

  • Starting November 15th, we will begin offering kids programming (birth - 5th grade) on Sunday mornings. If you are not comfortable sending your kids to a classroom or if you prefer your kid to come to the service with you, the family-friendly spaces will remain an option as well. Things to keep in mind regarding the start of Sunday morning programming for kids:

**Register your kids in advance each week via this link.
  • Weekly Wednesday night programming for middle and high school students will continue. We will continue meeting outside until Wednesday October 28th, at which point students will begin meeting inside as well. Our High School small groups are already meeting on Sunday nights. Visit to get involved.

  • If you become ill with Covid-19 within 14 days of attending worship at Westover Church, please inform us by calling the church or emailing here.

    • A designated staff member with a medical background will follow-up with that individual.

    • The risk will be assessed and appropriate notification to the body will be made, but names will be kept confidential.

    • Following CDC guidelines for larger groups, including wearing facemasks and social distancing, means that the risk of infection is greatly reduced.
