Welcome To Westover
Thank you for visiting. Meet our Pastor, and learn more about Westover!
What Can I Expect?
We are so glad you're considering spending part of your weekend with us. Each Sunday morning, we offer an indoor service at 10:30 am with contemporary worship and in-depth teaching. Check out our Covid-related safety protocols below:
Your safety is a primary concern, so we are asking 3 things of attendees:
Facemasks are required for everyone the entire time you are in the building.
Stop for a quick temperature check at the entrances.
Utilize the hand-sanitizer stations located around the building.
In an effort to maintain social distancing, we are making 4 areas available for participating in worship that will each be limited to 50% capacity.
Worship Center, Activity Center (family-friendly space), the Atrium, and W201
At the conclusion of our service, we are asking that people exit the building quickly. We encourage you to utilize our outdoor spaces and campus area for community and conversation, but want to encourage not lingering inside the facility.
When you arrive at Westover, we invite you to enjoy the guest parking (accessible from Entrances A & B). This way, you’re sure to find parking that is close and accessible, and our parking team will help connect you with a greeter or a guide who will be happy to show you around.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
People come to church in a variety of different styles. Anything from suits, dresses to jeans. Honestly, we aren’t picky about what you wear. We’re just glad to have you join us!
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
Younger children (infant through 5th grade) will love Westover Kids! Westover Kids offers a safe, high-energy, fun and dynamic environment for children during the 10:30 am service. Children will enjoy hands-on learning activities, build friendship and will love learning about Jesus. During this time of increased safety protocols due to Covid-19, families are asked to register your children for Westover Kids in advance to make sure we have enough volunteers to accomodate the children who come.
Middle School students (Impact) are encouraged to stop by the Middle School Room anytime between 9:45 and 10:15am to hang out and grab some snacks before the 10:30am worship service on Sunday mornings. Our Impact large group gatherings meet Wednesday evenings, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
High School students (Fuse) are encouraged to stop by the High School Room anytime between 9:45 and 10:15 to hang out and grab some snacks before the 10:30am worship service on Sunday mornings. Part of Westover’s vision is for us to Serve on Mission, and Sunday morning is a prime time for High School students to serve in one of our many ministry areas. Fuse Small Groups (divided by gender and grade) meet in homes all over Greensboro on Sunday evenings. Lastly, our Fuse large group gatherings meet Wednesday evenings, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
WESTOVER IS A BIG CHURCH, HOW DO I FIND MY WAY AROUND?
If you park in our guest parking lot, our parking team will greet you and get you pointed in the right direction. We have a First Time Guest area located on the 2nd floor, where you will find members of the Welcoming Team. These friendly volunteers will answer any questions you have, provide you with a welcome gift bag and connect you with a Westover Guide who will walk you to where you’re headed if you wish.
