Dr. Kevin Wilson Lead Pastor
Kevin Wilson serves as the Lead Pastor for Westover Church. Over 25 years ago, Kevin began serving in ministry and spent his early years in recreation ministry and sports evangelism after graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling. Kevin is married to Kristina and the Lord has blessed them with two kids, Parker and Anna Kate. They enjoy cheering their kids from the sidelines in several seasonal sports activities, and Kevin enjoys playing golf, being outdoors, and travel with his family.
In December 2012, Kevin completed his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. During this time, he wrote two Bible studies: “The Holy Spirit: Seeing the Power of God Unleashed in Your Life,” and “Hope is Here: A Study in John 16-20.” In 2019, Kevin published his first book, “Gospel Shaped Emotions: Learning to Lay Our Emotions at the Cross of Jesus,” available from Westbow Press.
Kevin’s ministry is focused on preaching a Christ-centered message in an expository manner from the Word of God, establishing a culture of disciple-making, and leading the church to further the cause of Christ, locally and globally.
