Below, you can explore the various teams it takes to make sure Night to Shine happens as seamlessly as possible. We encourage each of you to prayerfully consider where the Lord might be leading you to jump in!

Volunteer Teams
Activities Team
Sign-up to help out with a plethora of activities available to our guests during the event. These range from photo-booths, to dancing, to karaoke. Being on the activities team takes flexibility, but it might also be the team that has the most fun!
Buddy Team
Our Buddy Team is made up of individuals paired one-on-one with an Honored Guest (same gender / similar age pairings). Buddies accompany their Honored Guest during the event to help ensure that they have an unforgetable night! This includes assisting them as they experience activities throughout the event like dancing, karaoke, photo booth opportunities, food, and more!
Flowers Team
A part of Night to Shine is the opportunity for each Honored Guest to receive a Boutonniere or Corsage. Our Flower Team is tasked with ensuring this is an aspect of the night is one that our Kings and Queens won't soon forget!
Food Team
As if the name doesn't say it all, our Food Team will help with the prep and serving of food for our Honored Guests!
Registration Team
The Registration Team are some of the first faces our Honored Guests will see! Warmly greet guests, sign them in, and be available to answer any questions they may have about the night.
Hair, Make-up, Shoe-Shine Team
An opportunity our Honored Guests have is a choice to be pampered like a true King or Queen. You can join this team and help out with our Honored Guests having the chance to experience hair, make-up, shoe-sine, and more!
Paparazzi / Red Carpet Team
Who doesn't love a grand entrance! Help us make our Honored Guests entrance a memory of a lifetime! Join this team as we cheer and capture photos of guests as they make their way into the event in true VIP fashion!
Respite Team
The Respite Team is has the honor of serving the Parents / Caregivers or our Honored Guests who choose to spend the evening with us. This is an opportunity for our Night to Shine event to be a blessing to them as well!
Sensory Room Team
Spend time with Honored Guests who may be experiencing over-stimulation from the excitement of the event. This team serves in a designated event space, still part of the night, but a little more removed from all the action.
Floater Team
Are you someone who likes to see how many steps you can log during an event? Join the Floater Team and continuously circulate throughout the Night to Shine event, offering assistance wherever it may be needed. Flexibility is the name of this game!
Set-up Team
Arrive early, like... a couple days early, and make sure that by the time doors open at 6pm on Friday, February 13th... EVERYTHING IS READY TO GO!
Tear Down Team
After it's all said and done, we're going to need an army to make sure we get everything cleaned up. Our Tear down team will be responsible for making sure that by the time Sunday rolls around, all is cleaned up and ready for our typical Sunday activities.
