Episode 80: Living Sent with Dr. Michael Oh

Nov 2, 2026  •  Pastor Kevin Wilson

It’s easy to think of the Great Commission as just an individual burden, but God has called the global church to be one coordinated, purposeful body. To fulfill this mission means lifting our eyes beyond our own borders and stepping into a strategic, worldwide effort to bring hope where it is needed most.

In this first Living Sent Midweek episode, Kevin Wilson sits down with Dr. Michael Oh, Global Executive Director and CEO of the Lausanne Movement. They discuss what it means to move from a narrow view of faith to a global perspective, the urgency of reaching billions who still have no access to the gospel, and how both local churches and individuals can practice "strategic faithfulness" together.

- Moving beyond monocultural Christianity to embrace the full breadth of the global church, engaging in a shared mission that is vastly bigger than our individual routines.

- Learning to not only celebrate where the light of Christ is actively shining, but to honestly grieve over the darkness, and to support spreading the gospel to unreached places.

- Trading well-meaning, disconnected efforts for "strategic faithfulness"; uniting our resources, callings, and prayers as one body to accelerate the work of the Great Commission.
