Episode 79: The Lord's Prayer - Deliver Us

Temptation usually shows up when we least expect it, and relying on willpower alone to fight it off never lasts very long. Asking God for deliverance means admitting we need the Holy Spirit's protection every day.

In this Midweek episode, Michael Carter and Kevin Keslar wrap up our series on The Lord's Prayer with "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." As part of our weekly worship study, this episode features the teaching audio from our weekly video lesson. Use your Group Guide to work through the sermon notes and group discussion prompts for this week.

- Spotting the common ways temptation pulls at us—through pleasure, pride, or power—and seeing how Jesus used Scripture to stand firm.

- Remembering God’s complete care through His provision, His pardon, and His daily protection.

- Learning to swap casual distractions for clear spiritual purpose so we can stand strong in the Spirit's power.
