Our Mission
To serve married and engaged couples by praying for marriages and with couples, educating and equipping them with the full teaching of God’s Word on marriage, enhancing their marriage “know-how,” offering them marriage and pre-marriage mentoring, and hosting special events that celebrate marriage.
Praying Believing
Prayer is at the heart of COMMITTED – The Marriage Ministry @ Westover. God promises to bring healing when His people humble themselves, pray, seek Him, and turn to Him (2 Chronicles 7:14). We believe God! Our Praying Believing team meets weekly to intercede for marriages and to pray confidentially with couples upon request. Come join us in prayer, witness the marriage-changing power of the Holy Spirit, and cultivate a deeper personal relationship with God our Father.

Marriage Education & Community
God has lots to say about marriage. After all, He designed it! Come and learn what Scripture says concerning marriage, so that you live in marriage God’s Way and enjoy Him, the joy, and the blessing He designed marriage to be. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, decades in, or responding, personally, to God’s call to be equipped for marriage, you’ll flourish in the Marriage Class environment graced with love, compassion, truth, fellowship, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit to nurture “oneness” and “wholeness” in your marriage.

Growing Together (Early Marriage Community)
A Life Community for couples (20’s – early 40’s) in the early stages of marriage. Join us to discuss application of biblical truths to marriage and cultivate relationships among couples in a similar life stage.

Marriage and Pre-Marriage Mentoring
Westover is committed to cultivating healthy marriages and healthy families. Marriage Mentoring is a ministry to couples in every stage of marriage—from engaged to those who have been married for years—helping them grow closer to one another and to the Lord. Whether you need encouragement, practical guidance, or support through a challenging season, marriage mentoring can be beneficial to the health and well-being of your marriage. Our Marriage Mentors are trained and helped by an online diagnostic survey to identify key areas of practical married life needing your attention.
- Weekly 90-minute sessions of 8-10 weeks usually meeting in the Mentor couple’s home
- Cost: $50 (for financial assistance information, email us)
- To request mentoring, both spouses will need to fill out the Marriage Mentoring Request below and pay the materials fee (1 per couple). Once completed, our Marriage Mentoring team will be in touch to begin the process.
