Serve 1: Make a Difference This Winter at Westover
This winter, we’re inviting our Westover family to join Serve 1—a simple but powerful initiative where each of us commits to serving at one event. With three incredible opportunities coming up, there’s a place for everyone to jump in, meet new people, and make a meaningful impact in our church and community.
Whether you love decorating, taking photos, welcoming guests, serving food, or just being present to help create a warm and memorable environment—your “yes” matters!
Below are the three events you can choose from as you prayerfully consider where you might serve:

1. Father/Daughter Dance
February 6 • 7:00–10:00pm
Westover
One of our most joy-filled annual traditions, the Father/Daughter Dance creates lifelong memories for families in our church and community. Volunteers make this night sparkle by helping with:

- Decorating and setting the space
- Serving food and refreshments
- Running the coat check
- Taking photos
- And so much more
2. Night to Shine
February 13 • 6:00–9:00pm
Westover
This year, Westover is honored to host Night to Shine for the very first time! In partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, this unforgettable worldwide event celebrates people with special needs with joy, dignity, and God’s love at the center.
It takes a large team to pull off a night this special, and we need volunteers in areas like:

It takes a large team to pull off a night this special, and we need volunteers in areas like:
- One-on-one buddies for our honored guests
- Red Carpet paparazzi
- Decorating
- Serving dinner and refreshments
- Supporting parents and caregivers at our respite area
- General event support
3. Moms & Sons “Go for the Gold” Game Night
February 28 • 4:00–7:30pm

It’s going to be an Olympic-themed evening packed with games, friendly competitions, laughter, dinner, snacks, and community-building. This night is designed for moms and their sons to have fun and make memories together—and you can help make it happen!
Volunteer roles include:
