We're excited to announce a new group starting up at Westover! A Young Adults Gathering from 6:30 - 8pm every-other Thursday evenings. This gathering is for college students, 20's, & 30's - single, married, with or without kids. Will you join us?

What is the Young Adults Gathering

The Young Adults Gathering is an inclusive start-up aimed at creating a place for young adults to be challenged in their faith while connecting in community with others in similar life-stages. Now, you might be asking, 'So, it's another church service?' No! The intent of our Thursday evening time together IS NOT to replace Sundays and gathering together for corporate worship with other believers.

What will the evening consist of?

One of our goals is for our gathering to be a place that is friendly and welcoming to both the follower of Christ and those exploring what biblical community is all about for the first time . Picture a more laid-back environment than your typical Sunday morning! Our Thursday evenings together will consist of time to mingle and meet others, worship, and a short scripture-based teaching followed by time to discuss in groups.

What about the WHEN, WHERE, and WHO?

Good questions. Currently, we have 4 gatherings planned for this spring (April 21st - May 5th - May 19th - June 2nd), doors opening at 6:30 each time we gather. We'll be meeting in the Westover Theater, so we encourage you to enter through the North entrance. (Don't worry if you're not familiar, we'll help you find the right place!) 

As for the WHO, we're creating this space for a broad spectrum of ages. Have little ones but are still wanting to join in? We're doing our best to make this environment welcoming even for young families (but keep in mind, we might not always get it right... so we ask for your grace as we figure out what this looks like and, at the same time, invite your feedback). 

We'll also have drinks and lights snacks available!
