As we are in this uncertain time of transition before we even begin to look for a new lead pastor, we want to raise up our commitment to God's Word as the supreme authority for our lives. So, to symbolize this commitment, our congregation will read the New Testament over 10 days from May 25 -  June 5. 

We are asking 260 individuals, couples, families, small groups or friend groups to register for a half-hour to come to Westover to read one chapter from the New Testament. The Westover congregation did this many years ago when we moved from Westover Terrace to Muirs Chapel Road. We will read from the same Bible used then.

Our purpose, though, is not to repeat what we have done, but to speak God's very word in our church affirming what the psalmist said, "I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word."
