Welcome to cp@night

Wednesday Night Programming

cpnight1

cp@night is a discipleship program that provides a special place for children to make new friends, play exciting games, learn about and memorize God’s Word and receive awards as an encouragement for their participation. This program is for children enrolled in K-5th grade.

Registration
Registration is required. Call the Church office at 299-7374 or stop by the Children’s Information Center on Sunday or click here to download the registration form.

There is a Fall Session and a Winter Session. The Fall runs September-December and Winter runs January - May.

If you have registered for a w@W class, small group, or serving, remember you must register any children ages 0 - 5th grade for Children's Ministry Programming on Wednesday night.

Program Time 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
It is essential that all students arrive on time to cp@night. Check in at a laptop station just like on Sunday mornings. Parents must check in their children.

3rd -5th grade students report to S105.
K-2nd grade students report to W121.

cp@night Activities
There are three basic components, which are included in cp@night.

Game Time
Game time is an exciting and safe time of fun and friendly competition. All children are expected to participate in all games unless a parent informs the leader otherwise. Children must wear tennis shoes every week.

Small Group Time
Small group time is when a leader meets with their small group of 6-8 students. They discuss sections of the student’s book.

Worship Time
All students meet as a group during worship time for singing.

Students are encouraged to participate in Theme Nights and Community
Service Projects. Participation is optional, but Snack Shack tokens can be
earned by cp@night students for participating.

How Can A Parent Be Involved?
Here are some special ways to help your child have a wonderful experience in cp@night at Westover Church.

• Help your child with their lessons – make sure they understand the verses they are memorizing. It is IMPERATIVE that homework be completed before small group time.
• Read all flyers that your children bring home.
• Volunteer to be a cp@night Small Group Leader.
• Volunteer to help at special events.

Our desire is that cp@night be part of introducing your child to Jesus Christ and assist in developing an understanding of who we are in Him. Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you as we seek to encourage your child to develop community with believers and intimacy with God.
