About Podcasting

• What is a podcast?
  A podcast is like a radio or TV show you can listen to/watch whenever you want. Every week, Westover's weekly sermon podcast will automatically download to your computer and appear in iTunes ready for listening.
  
• Do I need an iPod?
  No, you don't need an iPod to subscribe to the podcast. You can move the audio file to any portable MP3 player, or just listen to it on your computer or you can watch the Video file in QuickTime.
  
• What do I need to get started?
  You'll need a program to download the podcast. We recommend iTunes w/ QuickTime, which can be downloaded for free at www.apple.com.
  
• Can I still download sermons from the website?
  Yes! Westover sermons can still be found here and downloaded for free whenever you'd like. Podcasting is just a way to skip the downloading process and receive the sermons automatically.
  
• What happens once I'm subscribed?
  Every time you open iTunes, the program will detect whether or not there is a new podcast and download it to your computer. It's that easy!

How to subscribe

If you are an iTunes user, you can browse the iTunes store or follow these steps:

• Click on the "Advanced" button on the iTunes menu bar.
• Click "Subscribe to Podcast..."
• Copy and Paste one of the following link into the window that pops up and click "OK".
