Abolition! was launched in 2008 by a group of people at Westover who felt a burden to make the congregation aware of the issue of human slavery. According to recent statistics, there are 27 million people worldwide held in bondage by the slave trade with 80% of those being women and children. The slave trade is made up of labor and sex trafficking.
