 Connect With Others
At Westover Church, we believe it is vitally important for each person to do more than just Worship + 0. This is where a person goes to a weekly worship service, but never connects to others in small group or in ministry service. On the opposite end, some people do Worship + 10, where they are over-committed and too involved in activities which keep them busy and separated from their families. This leads to burn-out and ultimately to a life even more isolated from other believers.
At Westover, we want people to experience life-change as a result of their involvement in authentic community and service. Our desire is that these opportunities provide a positive addition to an individual's spiritual journey. That is why we created Worship+2, or W+2.
W+2 is a simple way to describe what we believe is the most important steps for individuals who call Westover Church their home. We believe it is vitally important for each person to...
- Attend a worship service, where they experience the body of Christ worshipping together and the Word of God preached.
- Get involved in a Small Group, where they develop caring relationships with other believers.
- Get connected into ministry service, where they live out their call and gifts in service to God and others.
An important part of W+2 is making a connection with other in the body of Christ. At Westover, we have Small Groups and LifeCommunities.
